Our Love Story
How it all began
We met in 2019 right in our estate. Ada was taking a walk home as Dapo was just driving back from work, he stopped to give her a ride home. We got talking and the conversation flowed effortlessly. By the end of it, we had exchanged contacts. The conversations continued over text, and the following week we ran into each other again, this time as Ada was heading home from church. When Dapo saw her, he knew he had to make another move, so he asked her out to the cinema that weekend.
How We Met
We went to the cinema and watched a movie, what movie? we honestly can’t remember. What we do remember is that from that day on, we started talking every single day.
Our first date
Fast forward to 2025. We’re both June babies and usually celebrate our birthdays together. That year, Ada’s birthday fell on a Saturday, so Dapo planned what he described as a “curated fine dining experience.” What Ada didn’t know was that this experience was actually the proposal. It took place at a rooftop restaurant, and it became one of our most cherished core memories—one we’ll never forget.
